Question:

If any of you have an idea for a reading challenge or contest that you think would be fun send me your thoughts. You never know, I might just use your idea:)

I think if would be cool if you did like a book olympics. And have different events and stuff. Like most pages read in an hour, things like that.

What if you did a sea shore reading? For every book you read, you get one or two seashells depending on the size of the book, and at the end of the quarter you can trade your seashells for prizes. Instead of real 'seashells' you could just get a list of kids and a tally mark for very book or two for a big book. For the contest you could do the most books read and the winning class gets a beach party with sunbathing and everything :) ;)

I enjoyed the stuck on books contest. What is the next contest you are going to do? Does it involve a season of the year, or a holiday??? I can't wait to begin reading again!

Wow, some good ideas. I will have to think and try to turn one of these into an incentive for next year! Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming:)

i think it would be cool if we got like fake money and could exchange it for cool prizes. and like we did last year at the end of the year we could do awards for most books read and pages read.
